Although all of Washington State’s neighbors and many other northern states prefer Oliver, Washington went with Liam as their top choice.

West Virginia

  1. Liam
  2. Waylon
  3. Elijah
  4. Noah
  5. Grayson

We saw that when it came to girls’ names, West Virginia didn’t follow US trends very closely. We see that with boys’ names too! Waylon (#69) and Grayson (#35) don’t appear in any other state’s top 5!

Waylon may be popular due to country singer Waylon Jennings

And Grayson is the name of a county in Kentucky.

Wisconsin

  1. Olivery
  2. Henry
  3. Theodore
  4. Liam
  5. Levi

Ooh, Wisconsin has some interesting choices. Henry and Theodore are quite popular. And Levi (#12) makes its only appearance on this list!

Wyoming

  1. Oliver
  2. Liam
  3. Henry
  4. Lincoln
  5. Owen

Like Ohio, Wyoming folks are fans of the name Lincoln (#45). Owen (#22) is also surprisingly popular here!
