What is the difference between a baby, a newborn, an infant, and a toddler? I learned that:
- Babies covers all the subcategories of newborns, infants, and toddlers, or 0 months to 4 years.
- Babies are considered newborns from 0-2 months
- Infants range from 2 months to one year
- Toddlers range from one year to three to four years, depending on who you ask
And of course, beyond that point, they just become kids! Or at least until they are adolescents, pre-teens, teens… Now I need to make a timeline!
