Can babies sleep in the PeaPod?
The PeaPod travel tent has a light sleeping pad that can be used for safe sleep. Kidco recommends using the comfort pad underneath the tent itself.
From the Kidco website: “DO NOT place [sleeping] pad inside PeaPod. Pad is placed under the floor of the product and secured with snaps.” Kidco also recommends following all safe sleep guidelines by pediatricians, including placing infants on their backs to sleep and never placing any other items in the tent that increase the risks of SIDS.
What age is the PeaPod for?
The Kidco PeaPod travel products are designed for babies at six months and up to five years old. The Play-N-Go travel unit is slightly larger and wider and can fit children up to 8 years old.

What sheets do I need for the PeaPod?
The PeaPod travel tent is made from 100% polyester and is soft enough for babies and children to play, sleep, and lounge comfortably without adding sheets or blankets. The pad itself attaches underneath the travel tent to prevent suffocation or entrapment between the mattress and the side of the tent.
The newest design on the PeaPod makes sheets unnecessary; because the pad sits beneath the tent itself, sheets are optional. The tent’s floor is made from breathable polyester and will keep your children comfortable whenever they use it.
Is the PeaPod safe?
If you follow all the recommended guidelines on the PeaPod travel products, these items are completely safe for your little ones. Here are a few recommendations for safe use:
• Never leave your child unattended in the PeaPod
• Never add pillows, comforters, or other padding options to the tent
