Food Ideas for Your Wheel of Time Party
Tinker’s Stew (Vegetarian)
Any vegetarian stew or soup recipe works here! This one from Reddit is even vegan!
If you prefer something with meat, try trolloc stew! Get the full recipe from fan site Dragonmount. Or the Reddit recipe above is fantastic too!
Tacos al pastor are made with spit- grilled pork. If you want something besides stew, a play on word with Rand’s name makes a great dish!
Shepherds Pie Sedai
Or cottage pie, if you prefer
Bonus points if you use spices or cheese to make a dragon’s fang on top!
Aes Sedai Cookies
Speaking of the Dragon’s Fang… Bake some sugar cookies (or buy the slice and bake ones at the store). Then use chocolate and vanilla icing to decorate!
You could make them as cupcakes too!
Or as a combo of regular and chocolate cookies!
Ok, so it’s just a regular old flan. But the pun name makes it worth every bite! I know Lan would give anyone the evil eye if they made this joke in his presence! Or at least his stern and serious look…
Another pun food!
Mousse Therin Telamon
I’m sorry, I can’t stop making these terrible puns!
Just like lemon cakes pop up over and over in Game of Thrones, honeycakes are a staple in Wheel of Time.
This recipe was inspired by Lord of the Rings. Did you know that Robert Jordan was a huge fan of J.R.R. Tolkien and even paid homage to him with subtle references in the Wheel of Time books?
And here’s the more traditional Russian version of honeycake.
Get creative with that pie crust and make a cool symbol on top!
Drinks and Cocktails for a Wheel of Time Party
If you’re looking for non-alcoholic versions, try mixing seltzer water with fruit juice to get the right color for the cocktails!
Spiced wine is easy yet exotic!

All of these Wheel of Time party games are much safer than Maiden’s Kiss!
The Game of Snakes and Foxes
As played by children all across RandLand, you and a partner must enter the realm of the Snakes & Foxes at the center of the board, run to the edge, and return to the center and escape without being eaten by the snakes or foxes.
Olver’s favorite game. Find the rules and a printable game board here!
Remember: “Courage to strengthen, fire to blind; music to dazzle, iron to bind!”

Pin the tail on the Dragon
Use this gorgeous banner from Amazon for an excuse to play “pin the tail on the donkey” as an adult. This banner is pretty awesome too!
Or for a fun spin, get the official poster, and pin a picture of the Wheel on the cast member who’s The Dragon Reborn
The Great Serpent Toss
For the easy version, just play ring toss!
If you want to make your own, more authentic version:
- Get some white cones. They could symbolize the White Tower or Dragonmount
- And use black rings for the Great Serpent
We already have a lot of Aes Sedai themed stuff here, but a colorful ring toss game like this could symbolize the different Ajahs!
It’s time to toss the dice
Pick any of your favorite dice games! I’d go with Yahtzee, myself! But instead of yelling yahtzee, use one of Mat’s favorite curses.
LCR is super fun and easy
Or you could go with Farkle.
Can you topple the White Tower?
It’s Jenga, of course!
